By creating an account or calling the API you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
The service
Nyx serves open-weight models over an OpenAI-compatible API, as serverless capacity billed per token and as dedicated pods billed at a flat hourly rate. Published prices, context windows, and model availability appear in the model library and can change with notice as the catalog evolves.
Accounts and keys
Keep your API keys secret. Calls made with your keys are yours: usage, cost, and conduct. Rotate a key immediately if you suspect it leaked; revocation is instant and free.
Capacity and rate limits
Every account has declared capacity. Past it, the API returns 429 with a Retry-After header immediately instead of queueing your request. Backing off and retrying is expected use, never a violation. Dedicated pods carry the throughput written into their order.
Pricing and billing
Serverless usage bills monthly on metered token counts at the prices posted when the tokens were served. Price changes take effect with at least 14 days of notice and never mid-cycle. Dedicated capacity bills at the contracted hourly rate from provisioning to teardown.
Availability
Serverless capacity is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis with no uptime commitment. Where we publish operational figures we publish how they were measured alongside them. Dedicated deployments carry a written SLA with service credits.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to harm people, to probe or degrade the infrastructure, or to violate the license of a model you invoke. We can suspend keys that endanger the fleet or other customers, and we tell you when we do.
Your content
Prompts you send and completions you receive are yours. We claim no rights over them, we do not train on them, and we handle them as the privacy policy describes. You are responsible for what you do with model outputs.
Model licenses
Catalog models ship under their own open-weight licenses. Using a model through Nyx does not exempt you from that model's license terms; the applicable license is linked on each model page's specification rows.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. Model outputs are probabilistic and can be wrong; do not rely on them without review where the stakes are real. Our total liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can close your account at any time; unbilled usage is invoiced at closing. We can end service for breach of these terms with notice stating the reason.
